As a retired U.S. Marine JAG officer, Mr. Stackhouse has seen many military careers ruined because of one mistake or indiscretion. During his 22 years of honorable service, Mr. Stackhouse received several personal awards for outstanding service as well as an award for outstanding service for his career as an attorney by the Judge Advocate's Association. When Mr. Stackhouse retired from service in 2006, he committed his legal career to protecting the rights of our U.S. service men and women who face the toughest penalties the military justice system hands out. Mr. Stackhouse has tried well over 100 cases as both a defense attorney and prosecutor and supervised the defense and prosecution of hundreds more.

  • Former Marine accused of Felony Assault by Strangulation and Assault on a Female. Tried before a Jury in North Carolina. Not Guilty of All Charges.
  • Represented a Chief Warrant Officer accused of indecent assault while in Iraq. At a Board of Inquiry, the members closed with case without substantiating any misconduct. Case Closed.
  • Represented a Petty Officer in Japan accused of wrongfully disposing ammunition, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice. Contested at a Jury trial: Not Guilty.
